Part 4 of a series
DAY 1.
After enjoying the afternoon breeze at Times Beach, I was once again caught by the moment and I didn’t know where to go next! So, I decided to just return to the hotel and jump-off from there. I walked from the Baywalk to the main highway and there, I looked like an idiot! I didn’t know what to ride on the way back to the hotel! Under the direct heat of the afternoon sun, I stood for a few minutes. Tens of tricycles and “habal-habals” passed by me and I didn’t seem to care. There were no jeepneys. I didn’t panic. I waited for a cab! LOL. (After I reported the experience to my friends, I realized that I could have just taken the tricycle to the nearby SM mall and jumped off from there. I am such a fool! LOL)
Okay, so after some more minutes of waiting, an empty cab finally came to the rescue. Hurray! In no time, I was back at my hotel room.

This is the heart of Davao City as viewed from my hotel room. Clean, no?
And while at the hotel room, I felt lazy and I didn’t want to go out anymore. Thanks to Facebook! Damn…, so Facebook isn’t just a distraction to work and school huh? It is now also a distraction to exploring the outdoors. Tsk! So for the rest of my first day in Davao City, all I did was just do nonsense on Facebook, then I got out to have dinner (at Jollibee LOL) and then back to Facebook.. That’s totally BS..
(…to be continued)
