Mga puso’y nilamon ng Lamon Bay, Real, Quezon

Part 7 of a series.

An hour has passed and our brief encounter with Balagbag Falls had to end. Sad, but I’ll definitely be back one of these days, during “waterfalls season”. So we walked back to the main road where our tricycle was parked.

We had to endure the pain in the *ss once more.

The seemingly never-ending Real-Mauban Road

Part 5 of a series.

After our very brief encounter with General Nakar, Quezon, we went back to where we were staying for the night, Ocean Blue Resort, to freshen up, before our major adventure of the day.

24 Hours in Northern Quezon

Big City got you down? Need a quick break from all the Metro Manila stress? Here’s another option, aside from the usual Tagaytay, Cavite, Batangas, Bulacan, Subic, Clark, Laguna hideaways… NORTHERN QUEZON.

Northern Quezon is just a 3-hour drive, probably 4-hours if you take the bus, from Manila. And I’ll show you what we did in our 24-hour stay in the not-so-explored ocean-facing paradise in this mini series.

Travel+Lifestyle: The Libotero 2011 Year-Ender (The Finale)

2010 saw the birth of Libotero.com which initially featured family trips around Luzon from the previous years. I’ve always had the passion for travel but was limited by my fear of travelling alone. June 2010 marked a breakthrough as I embarked on my first solo trip ever, and to Mindanao at that. From that point up to the end of last year, I was able to visit 5 new provinces in Visayas and Mindanao.

Travel+Lifestyle: The Libotero 2011 Year-Ender (Part 3)

2010 saw the birth of Libotero.com which initially featured family trips around Luzon from the previous years. I’ve always had the passion for travel but was limited by my fear of travelling alone. June 2010 marked a breakthrough as I embarked on my first solo trip ever, and to Mindanao at that. From that point up to the end of last year, I was able to visit 5 new provinces in Visayas and Mindanao.

There are various reasons for travelling. As for myself, I’ve always been inspired by these travel shows on television and wanted to personally experience the places away from home, to discover a colorful mix of cultures in different settings, and more.
