Part 13 of the Libotero Baler Roadtrip series
DAY 2.
After our brief visit to Baler Church, we made another short stopover, this time, at Aurora’s Provincial Capitol.

Located 5 minutes away from the Baler town proper, the Aurora Provincial Capitol is a simple government structure. To be frank about it, there’s nothing spectacular about the building as it merely looks like an elementary school complex in the metropolitan areas.

What’s special about it though is that it has a huge park in front (not seet in the photos) where families could just laze away, especially during weekend afternoons.

Another imposing feature standing in front of the Capitol grounds is a monument dedicated to Doña Aurora Aragon-Quezon..

Made possible through the efforts of the Aragon Civic-Social Movement, Inc. in cooperation with the Provincial Government of the Province of Aurora, the monument was built as a recognition of Aurora Aragon’s dedication as a wife and mother and as an outstanding civil and religious leader.
After snapping some photos, we immediately left and explored the next town…
